Year 1 visit to St Laurence's Church
On Tuesday the children in Year 1 visited St Laurence’s Church in Scalby.
They worked with Celia who was able to answer the children’s many questions. They were praised for their behaviour and manners showing respect for the church and its people. The children were able to identify all the different areas of the church to consolidate their learning about the Christian sacred place. Mrs Allenby and Mrs Rowe were also able to start planning a community project for the coronation with Celia.
