EYFS visit the farm
The children had a fantastic time visiting Hilltop Farm on Thursday.
We started off the afternoon by going on a nature walk around the farm. We spotted lots of signs of Spring including blossom trees and daffodils. We then visited the Ewes and lambs. We found out what happens when they are born and what they eat. The children visited the sheep in the pens and stroked them. We also saw hens and their chicks!
The trip ended on a high when we fed the lambs.
The children behaved impeccably and engaged enthusiastically with all parts of the afternoon. Thank you to staff and volunteers that came to help out on the day, this trip couldn't have happened without you!
